Cancer Treatment in New York City
NYU Cancer Institute experts from a variety of clinical areas collaborate to treat patients with all types of cancer through specialized Disease Management Groups. Patients receive most of their care in the state-of-the-art NYU Clinical Cancer Center, a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic setting located on East 34th Street at Third Avenue. Patients can undergo diagnostic tests, learn the results of those tests, and receive a personalized treatment plan - all under the same roof.
This centralized facility provides a nurturing, supportive environment in which NYUCI's multidisciplinary treatment team of pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, and support services staff communicate and collaborate, considering your unique health circumstances and the stage of your cancer to create a personalized cancer care plan.

Breast Cancer
NYU brings diverse knowledge and perspective from 15 academic medical departments including environmental medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pharmacology, and radiation oncology.
Gastrointestinal Cancer
Gastrointestinal cancers-those that arise in the digestive tract-are the most common group of cancers in the United States, accounting for approximately 20 percent of all non-skin cancers.
